Before founding her consulting business in 1990 Morgan served in leadership at Perdue Farms, Cleveland Trust, Stouffer Foods, TRW and Precision CastParts.
In addition to her books Strategic Profits and Start Smart, Finish Strong: Forging Your Path to Operational Excellence and Long-Term Success in the Manufacturing World, Morgan has published hundreds of articles in INC Magazine, IndustryWeek’s IdeaXchange, American City Business Journals, The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) publication Target and numerous other national and industry publications. In addition, her expertise is tapped by journalists writing for Fortune Magazine, Business Week, Dow-Jones Newswires, Wired and comparable magazines.
She is Board Approved in Operations Management by the Society for Advancement of Consulting, certified as Fellow by The Association for Operations Management (APICS) and was awarded Lifetime Member status by the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME). Morgan graduated with honors from both Wichita State University (BS Economics) and Oklahoma State University (MS Economics) before completing post graduate work at the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management. In addition, she was inducted into the Million Dollar Consultant® Hall of Fame in 2017, one of 75 consultants in the world to be so honored.
She contributes generously of her time to professional and civic organizations, travels extensively for both business and pleasure, and loves college and professional sports.
