Bio of Rebecca A. Morgan

Rebecca A. Morgan, President of Fulcrum ConsultingWorks Inc., is an operations strategy consultant skilled at clarifying complex ideas, finding creative solutions to problems, and developing and leveraging operational strengths. She works with manufacturers to develop and execute an operations strategy — one that leverages their resources to deliver profitable competitive advantage to their markets.

Highly respected business journal INC Magazine selected Morgan as its Operations Expert, a role she fulfilled for several years. In addition, her expertise has been tapped by many other national and industry publications, including Fortune Magazine, Business Week, Dow-Jones Newswires, and Industry Week, on topics ranging from Lean Manufacturing to Steel Tariffs to B2B relationships.

Morgan was a key leader at Perdue Foods (yes, the chicken company!), Cleveland Trust (a bank since absorbed into Key Bank), Stouffer Foods (think Macaroni and Cheese), TRW and Precision CastParts (high tech jet engine parts for both) for a total of 14 years before founding her operations consulting business in 1990. Consulting clients include widely recognized names like Avery-Dennison and Moen, and numerous smaller manufacturers like Hunter Defense Technologies, Zircoa, and Kinetico.

She is Board Approved in Operations Management by the Society for Advancement of Consulting and is certified as Fellow by The Association for Operations Management (APICS).

She contributes generously of her time to professional organizations, including current leadership responsibilities with The Association for Operations Management (APICS), the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) and the AME Institute.

Morgan graduated with honors from Wichita State University with a BS in Economics, and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a MS Economics and a 4.0 GPA. She also completed post graduate work at the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
